Success for NFT’s 1st public auction in France!

On Thursday March 10, 2022 at 7pm, FauveParis organized The Burnt Auction, a public auction of 47 NFT lots of crypto art.

Almost 200 people physically present at FauveParis, 300 on Instagram and Twitter lives, 120 registered bidders on the Internet… rarely in the last two years has an auction brought together so many enthusiasts and sparked such a debate in public opinion.
With 2/3 of NFT lots sold, FauveParis confirms its position as a pioneer and key player in the crypto-art market.

For Cedric Melado, auctioneer for the sale and partner at FauveParis, “it has often been said that digital art would kill off our old profession, but today, through this historic sale in more ways than one, it is digital art that is breathing new life into it!

According to Lucie-Eleonore Riveron, President of FauveParis and initiator of the company’s commitment to the NFT revolution: “This first public sale was a political act, which, for the first time in France, brought crypto artists into the history of art, even if I don’t believe that there are NFT artists and NFT collectors. The worlds of contemporary art and crypto art must mutually enrich each other.”
