After holding two sales devoted to 1980s design, FauveParis is now offering an incursion into the world of 1960s and 1970s designers. Less iconic than the creations of the 1950s, which are currently the talk of the town, the productions of the following two decades were nonetheless numerous and highly inventive, often unbridled, echoing the blossoming of pop art and the prosperity of the consumer society of the Trente Glorieuses. The sale will feature an attractive selection of pieces by key designers of the period such as Pierre Paulin, George Nelson and Charles & Ray Eames, as well as a contemporary collection of graphic works.
